RV parks, RV resorts, camping, travels, photos

Since we have been staying at our Resort parks, there are many, I have added a page where you can pick the park you want to see All Parks
October 15-22 2008
Preferred RV Park
(RPI $12.50 a night)

As we drove down the 372 to Pahrump to find the park we stopped at Terrible's Casino for lunch and behold right behind the park is Preferred.  Walking distance to both The Nugget and Terrible's Casino's.

There are over 300 sites, the sites where we are for the he monthly and weekly the sites to the west behind Terrible's are for the long term.  They sell park models here.  This area reminds me too much of Tucson all desert. (below picture taken at a rest stop between Las Vegas & Pahrump)

Long pull through, long enough for our tow dolly with the car parked behind it, 50 AMPS, Mailroom, clubhouse, 24 hour security lots of stuff too do.  Wal-Mart just up the road and so is Home Depot.  You can walk from the park to the Nugget and Terrible's the foods not bad and not expensive if you sign up for a players card.  The park gives you coupons to use at both casino's. The park is great if you like the desert all dirt, except there is a concrete patio for you with a picnic table.  Make sure you have a long sewer hose as the the sewer is in the back and they want you to park all the way forward.

****Parks we would stay in again, large pull through, full hook ups,
well maintained, activities, 50/30 amps
***Parks we would stay but do not have activities full hook ups/30 amps & or /have back ins only
**Parks that do not have pull-through (back in only),30 amps, traffic noise, railroad noise
(since Mike retired from the railroad this is the number one thing we do not need to hear )
*Would absolutely not go back
