|Since we have been staying at our Resort parks, there are many, I have added a page where you can pick the park you want to see All Parks|
April 26th-May 7th 2007|
Lakes Resort (ROD-AOR)
It is getting harder and harder to choose our favorite park, this park is large with over 270 spaces, along with cabins, and just plan camping. Situated on the Guntersville Lake (69,000 acres of water) Our space 50 ft from the water, with plenty of grass and easy pull-thru. 30/50 amps, full hook ups and quiet even with kids around.
The people running the park, have maintained it with pride. Well manicured grass, lots of piers, and boat docks. There is a chapel on site, along with small cafe, groceries, bunkhouse, clubhouse, playground, gulf cart storage and much more. There is a lot to do and see around here also, Unclaimed Baggage in Scottsboro, US space center in Huntsville, Lookout Mountain, Sequoyah Caverns. So if you want peace and quiet and a place to stay plus places to see this ones for you!
Mike is enjoying this lake as it is
easy to sell his remote controlled sailboat
****Parks we would stay
in again, large pull through, full hook ups, well maintained, activities, 50/30 amps |
***Parks we would stay but do not have activities full hook ups/30 amps
**Parks that do not have pull-through (back in only),30 amps, traffic noise, railroad noise
(since Mike retired from the railroad this is the number one thing we do not need to hear )
*Would absolutely not go back
