Since we have been staying at our Resort parks, there are many, I have added a page where you can pick the park you want to see All Parks
***May 20-June 6 2009
Old American Kampground
KM Resorts
701 N. Newport Ave. Newport, WA

When entering the park the first thing you see are lots of trees
it looks to be an old campground and small.  It lays on the bank of the Pend Oreille River.
The river divides Idaho and Washington in fact if you want to fish from the campgrounds boat dock
you will need a Idaho fishing license.

Our Site 90

Entrance to park

The sites are large but the only ones you can get WI-FI at are in the back with no view,  Mike & I choose to park there so we could set up the internet, other wise the rest of the sights are near the river and on top of the hill

The Trees are blooming, you can tell it is spring time here, as the summer has bought the mosquitoes and blooms of the trees.

the picture to the left was taken across the bridge in Idaho you  can see the Resorts boat dock.
This is the KM Resort Park as seen from the Idaho side. It is on the bank of the Pend Opelli River
River Pen Oreille as seen from the sites on top of hill Newport established 1898

See pictures of the area Sandpoint, ID and Usk

****Parks we would stay in again, large pull through, full hook ups,
well maintained, activities, 50/30 amps
***Parks we would stay but do not have activities full hook ups 50/30 amps & or /have back ins only
**Parks that do not have pull-through (back in only),30 amps, traffic noise, railroad noise
