August 3-10 2015
It has been 8 years since we had been here
the place looks a little run down, Harry who was one of the best cooks in an RV park has passed away, the place is not as busy as it was when we were here last.  Ocean Shores has grown and looks almost the same.  Oceana which is an Encore Park is about 1.3 miles from us, we drove over there only 6 full hook ups, Ocean Mist which we go to on Monday the 10th looks the same will find out, Oceana and Ocean Mist are right next door to each other.  Went to the Casino in Ocean Shores put in $80 walked away with $160 finally found a Nail and Pedicure place she painted a Minon on both ring fingers looks great, on the way back to the rig decided to stop at the casino, went to same machine I had won on put $20 in and left with $160.  This does not happen that often.  The Green Lantern is still around the corner from us. The grounds have changed they have taken all of the great outdoor items off of the grass looks barren

Cobalis Ocean Beach Resort (ROD)

This park is located right off of Hwy 112 close the Pacific Ocean beaches and tourist attractions, including the Ocean Shores Casino.  Has large pull through sites, 50/30 amps full hook ups.  When parked you can see the Pacific Ocean from the front of your coach's windows, a wonderful site to wake up to each morning.  There are no trees to obstruct your view and although it is windy you will enjoy your stay. Their are activities in the clubhouse and the managers are extremely nice and friendly.

****Parks we would stay in again, large pull through, full hook ups, well maintained, activities,  50/30 amps
***Parks we would stay but do not have activities full hook ups/30 amps
**Parks that do not have pull-through (back in only),30 amps, traffic noise, railroad noise
(since Mike retired from the railroad this is the number one thing we do not need to hear )
*Would absolutely not go back
