Since we have been staying at our Resort parks, there are many, I have added a page where you can pick the park you want to see All Parks
****July 4-July 23 2012
Thousand Trails RV Resort
Birch Bay
8418 Harborview Road
Blaine, WA 98230

This park is located in the heart of the bay, about 1 mile from the ocean and town.  There is a lot to see and do in the area, from here you are about 44 miles from Vancouver B.C and about 20 min. from downtown Bellingham, WA.

Our Site 58

Lots of trees and with all the rain the park looks cool, green grass on this side of the park were we are at.

Entrance
Clubhouse & Pool

You do not have to go far if you want to eat out, their are many shops open for dinner and lunch.  To do your regular grocery shopping you will need to go to Ferndale or Bellingham.  About 20 min. away.  For hair cuts there is a salon called Bay Beauty in Blaine, I got mine cut and style $34.

There is two section phase 1 and phase 11 we choose the first section as it has trees in sites and 50 amps.  The second section is in the open with 30 amps and you probably would get your TV, there are too many trees in the way for us to have the satellite find Direct TV since ours is on the roof of RV.  If you have one that you can move around then most likely you would get the reception.
This is a large park, very well maintained and the staff are all friendly and helpful.  You will have plenty time to relax and enjoy the great outdoors,

C Shop established in 1971, Patricia Alesse started the shop in the old shore Acres building on Birch Bay Drive.  They specialized in candy, Carmel corn, cotton candy, cake donuts and crafts.  Now 40 years later and in a new location since 1978, they've added many more products beginning with the letter "C"

As of January 1, 2010, the C shop tradition continuing with their son Keith and his partner Saara Kuure having come on board to learn the trade.  From Homemade breads, cinnamon rolls and candy the small cafe serves lunch and pizza.  When you pass by the doors the shop draws you in with the smells of cinnamon, chocolate and many other delights.  I love this shop, wish it did not add on the pounds but hey we are on vacation...ha ha

****Parks we would stay in again, large pull through, full hook ups,
well maintained, activities, 50/30 amps
***Parks we would stay but do not have activities full hook ups 50/30 amps & or /have back ins only
**Parks that do not have pull-through (back in only),30 amps, traffic noise, railroad noise
(since Mike retired from the railroad this is the number one thing we do not need to hear )
*Would absolutely not go back
