I have added a page where you can pick the park you want to see All Parks
Parks we visited for overnight stays while traveling summer of 2011 also photos
Leaving South Dakota we stayed at a Passport America Old West RV, was not impressed but hey, we were there just for the night $17 with full hook ups..

The next morning we headed for Wyoming where we found a really nice RV park. Peter's RV Park 1105 Joe Street Sheridan, WY 82801-3113 (307) 673-0597

The add on the web said " Park has nutritional value, Pete needs to eat".  Mike laughed, the web said it had great reviews so we decided to try it.  Full hook ups with free cable, cash price $25 (50 amps) great price and we were even allowed to park our car in the spot next to rig. Pete was wonderful, friendly and told us about a great Rib place to eat, as some of you know, I do not turn down Ribs, love them.

The only problem we had was due to the weather, the winds, around 10PM, become almost hurricane strength around 60 miles an hour, we lost our shroud over the rear AC, Pete was able to help us find a place in Sheridan the next day, we lucked out they had one that fit.  I would recommend this as a stop over, the town is old and there is a lot to see.  It is the home of Buffalo Bill Museum and his home the Sheridan, lots of old buildings to see, it is also the home of the largest Leather show in the world.  Some photos of Sheridan below.

Below Missoula Montana
We stayed at Jim & Mary's RV park for 2 days, about 10 miles west of Missoula city center,
9800 Highway 93 N. Missoula, MT 406-549-4416

Nice clean park, full hook ups 50 AMPS. Long site for the big rigs, with our car on the tow dolly we still had plenty of room to park behind the rig.  $37 a night. The grass was nice, Keri loved the idea of grass, with all of the weather behind us it was great to get outdoors and take her walking.

The town of Missoula, as you can see, the town has a lot of history and architecture.  Can't wait to make some of these photos jig saw puzzles.

We thought we had a hot water leak, Mike wanted to make sure it was ok.  We called while still in Sheridan, Montana. Rob said if we could get to him by noon he would try and get the rig looked at.  We left Missoula around 6 AM, we arrived around 11 AM and Rob said he would get us in as soon as possible.  The people at R & R are friendly and wanted to make sure our wait was comfortable.  They have a lunch room on the premises, it is decorated in the 50's style.  Debbie ( in the pink blouse) made sure Keri was comfortable too, they gave her several dog biscuits.  IF you ever need service I would highly recommend R & R 23203 E. Knox Liberty Lake, in between Coeur-d'Alene Idaho and Spokane, WA.  Turned out there nothing was wrong with the hot water heater, and they had our rig back by 4 PM, asked Debbie where was an RV park and she said they had 10 sites on the lot with full hook ups and we were welcome to stay in one overnight.  Great people and every technician certified.
