Since we have been staying at our Resort parks, there are many, I have added a page where you can pick the park you want to see All Parks
***Lighthouse & Marina RV Resort  ROD park
151 Brannon Island Rd.
Isleton, CA
04 to 26, 2010

Site 20

The drive here on Hwy 101 and 160 was terrible, it only took us 3 hours to get here but felt like all day, the highways are rough with lots of bumps, don't think any of these roads have been maintained and yet they are 3 lane highways.  Don't come the way we did if you are heading north, next time we will take the 5 and pray it is much better.

The park is nice, large pull through with 50 amps ($4 a night), they  charge $3 for each pet you have, this covers the cost of the baggie station around the park.

Entrance to park and sites
The ladies above keep the grill running from noon to 2PM everyday.  There are dinners you can sign up for on Wed. & Friday's.  Since we entered the park at noon, we ate before setting up.  Hamburgers where great and the prices for both of us was about $7, can't eat anywhere now days for that.  There is a Restaurant opening this weekend we will go and let you know the cost and how the food was.
Swimming pool and Market on site
The staff is friendly and very helpful they act like they enjoy being here, which is a pleasant experience . This park is great being close to the water, San Francisco and Sacramento if you are coming to the area make sure you do not to miss this one while traveling, they even offer memberships.

There are 50amps ($4.00 a night) or 30 amps no charge, with septic. the 50 amp sites are pull through, 30 amps are back in with another site in front or back of you.  They are large sites. No activities in the evening, I really would have liked that, maybe it is too early in the season.   The Delta is just up the hill from where we are and so is the Marina.  We are told this park is 15 feet below sea level, they had a lot of rain just before we came in and Mike actually had the rear tires spinning in the mud to get to the front of our site.  You park on the grass so you will have grass all around you instead of dirt which makes it nice and clean.
San Francisco is about 1 1/2 hours from here, which will be great as friends of ours came here too, and they are going to take care of Keri while we go.  Sacramento is about 35 min. which means we get to go back to Folsom to see the changes. Haven't been there since 68.

See Summary of all the parks we have stayed in
